Wheatgrass juice: King of all juices

Wheatgrass juice has been called the king of all juices. Wheatgrass juice is the young grass of the common wheat plant (Triticum aestivum) freshly juiced for human consumption.

Wheatgrass can be traced back in history over 5000 years, to ancient Egyptian and perhaps even early Mesopotamian civilizations. It is purported that ancient Egyptians found sacred the young leafy blades of wheat and prized them for their positive effect on their health and vitality.

It has the highest beta carotene and chlorophyll content of all the cereal grasses. Wheatgrass juice is crude chlorophyll and can be taken orally and as a colon implant without toxic side effects.

Wheatgrass juice contains many vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins and trace minerals, but is especially rich in the antioxidants selenium and vitamins A and E.

As compared to carrots, it has approx. twice the amount of Vitamin A and is higher in Vitamin C than oranges. It contains the full spectrum of B vitamins, as well as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium in a balanced ratio.

Wheatgrass juice is used to help the body eliminated excess metals to control irregularity. It is one of the best detoxifiers and blood purifiers available. Wheatgrass juice is a superior detoxification agent compared to carrot juice and other fruits and vegetables.
