Papaya juice aid digestion

Papaya juice is an excellent source of vitamin C and beta carotene. It also contains a wealth of proteolytic enzymes, which enable the body to digest protein.

Papaya juice encourages the appetite and helps digestion. It is diuretic and prevents flatulence. Papaya also helps to ease inflammation, relives acidosis, combats diarrhea and constipations and helps rid the body of intestinal worms.

Papaya has a soothing effect on the stomach and pancreas. Papaya also breaks down unwanted substances, including uric acid and other toxic acids in the body.

After a meal that is hard to digest it is recommended to have papaya as a dessert or a cup of papaya tea or papaya juice to help the digestion that one feels long after a heavy meals.
